      <image:caption>ROLE: copywriter, photographer, promoter TARGET: develop online presence in the community, promote upcoming events and new products, connect with guests The Pottery Barn at ABQ Uptown Instagram page was created in 2015. I worked closely with the administrator of the account to promote the store events cohesively with our online presence, as well as print promotions. It was also important to show the unique spirit of store in order to connect with the guests and the community. Posts that show the store’s personality include the cake of the month tradition. In order to celebrate the associates and the month’s birthdays and anniversaries, I bake a cake the first Saturday of the month. The cake is beautifully staged with Pottery Barn’s products and gives guests inspiration as well. The following images are snapshots of the Instagram posts that promote the Bridal Soirée in the days leading up to the event, creating buzz and excitement. There are also images showing the cake of the month tradition as well.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>ROLE: graphic designer, event planner, promoter TARGET: build relationships with complementary businesses, increase registrant numbers, showcase product and promote registry services I used conceptual thinking and problem solving skills to create custom signage for Pottery Barn in ABQ Uptown. I have helped to create and organize events and graphics for the store that increased business and built relationships within the community. The most recent event I helped organize for Pottery Barn was the Bridal Soirée. The goal for this event was to increase the number of registrants and build relationships with local vendors. The signage designed for the event was made to appeal to young engaged couples, newlyweds and new homeowners. I created an invitation and signage tailored for each of Pottery Barn’s feature tables ( the gift registry, the wedding themes and the reception ). Each table highlighted inspirations for all steps of life, showcasing the products and services Pottery Barn has to offer. The first graphic is an invitation for the event. This is meant to emulate a wedding invitation that is fresh and vibrant, and that would appeal to a young bride, a core target group for the event. The following graphics are signage that was created for Pottery Barn tables during the event. The event was successful and yielded an increase in registrants by 20%, thus achieving its target.</image:caption>

I created pages to showcase the various categories of custom work the company does, as well as information about bamboo to educate the audience on the benefits of bamboo as a building material. The site also includes links to other social media, like Google+ and Facebook. I redesigned the Facebook and Google+ pages with graphics that were cohesive with the new site. Bamboo Visions has gotten overwhelmingly positive feedback from customers and the community in St. Augustine about the newly designed pages. Bamboo Visions also requested a web banner ad that was to be posted on a rotation basis on the American Bamboo Society’s website. Here suppliers and growers of bamboo are able to advertise their businesses. The site is a resource for “all things bamboo…bamboo societies, bamboo growers and bamboo products.” Advertising on this site is a natural fit.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>ROLE: graphic designer TARGET: design branding assets that are engaging and convey business attributes in a creative and unique way Bamboo Visions was in need of a business card that not only was cohesive with the redesigning of their web presence, but also something that spoke to their strengths. After some research, I found a small business that creates laser-burned wooden business cards. Using a business card that is made from an unconventional material, bamboo, would not only let customers know immediately what Bamboo Visions does, but also create interest. Leaving potential customers with something unique makes them less likely to simply toss a business card away. The business card was created from bamboo veneer and is standard sized. The design uses the new logo and slogan that is seen throughout the website. Bamboo Visions also requested a new design for their T-shirts that would be cohesive with the website and all the other promotional materials. It includes the logo and color palette of the site.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>ROLE: graphic designer, brand strategist, team member, researcher TARGET: Case study: develop an ad campaign for BREIL Milano for men and women ages 20-35 that generates brand awareness and excitement as well as resonates culturally in the United State This was an ad campaign for the Italian jewelry brand, Breil Milano. To date, Breil Milano has introduced its products to the U.S. jewelry market, but at the time of this campaign, Breil had only penetrated the European market. In this team effort, our focus in the strategy was to effectively introduce the newest jewelry line from Breil Milano into a foreign market while still maintaining the Breil brand identity. We maintained the edgy and unique vibe, an integral part the brand, and toned down some of the risqué ads that would not go over well culturally with the American market. We found a balance between edge and respecting cultural differences by appealing to the universal desire to stand out and be unique. The product differentiates itself from the products in the American market with its design and material, so a campaign focused on uniqueness seemed a perfect fit. In the print ads we focused on the elements because the product line was design-inspired by the natural elements ( such as earth, water and fire ), and in many cases, the products were named after them. The tagline, 'Dare to be an element,' is a nod to the product design and name, but also to the central focus of uniqueness and standing out from the crowd. The ads challenge the target audience to dare to be distinct, an element of their own.</image:caption>

The menu board of the services offered by Workout Anytime was clearly displayed at each location. It offered customers a concise pricing on all the services so that they may make an informed decision as to what package best fits their needs. Locations also featured print material on the ‘Preferred Partner Program’, which clearly presented the added benefits of the membership. The direct mail postcard was an attempt to reengage customers with a promotion that has financial value, as well as remind them of all of the services and benefits offered by Workout Anytime The outdoor billboard was prominently visible from the highway and featured a specific location whose sales were stagnant. The graphic, eye-catching billboard increased traffic to that location by 10% for that quarter. The final oversized outdoor poster was designed for the grand opening of a franchise location and mirrored a Facebook campaign that was developed to generate enthusiasm for the opening.</image:caption>

In addition to the print that promoted the grand opening of a new franchise location, I was tasked to create graphics that would generate buzz. The first image is a Facebook graphic that displays a countdown to the grand opening party. The countdown began four days before the event. The final image is of a Facebook graphic emphasizing a promotion involving two free personal training sessions upon enrollment. The client requested a slightly different aesthetic that was more bold to usher in the new season. I incorporated Workout Anytime's signature red to create more contrast, but still kept the overall feel for cohesion.</image:caption>

The client was presented with several options, and selected this bespoke logo. I developed a typography for them that felt clean, but still natural and organic in its lines. I also collaborated with the client in developing a tag line that was in line with the brand identity and inclusive of all product categories. The logo is also framed by my original watercolor illustrations to give the logo a natural feel in line with the identity. This unique touch gave the logo something original and special, which the client appreciated.</image:caption>

The use of these ingredients was very important to the client and the brand identity, so emphasizing them was key.       <image:caption>ROLE: graphic designer, copywriter, promoter TARGET: promote classes and increase participation numbers I designed class invitations for Williams Sonoma in Albuquerque Uptown during the holiday season. The aim was to promote classes and increase the guest participation numbers during a slow season. The signage was on brand for Williams Sonoma and gave the guest a seamless experience from in store shopping to cooking and skills classes. Guest participation increased by 15% that quarter.</image:caption>
